I’m sitting peacefully in our library, with the sunshine streaming in, the sound of neighbors children playing coming through the windows, and soft music echoing in the room.

This time of year, with school finishing up and summer festivities setting in, we often finally find time to work on tasks we’ve been putting on for…a long time. One of those was reorganizing our sewing room. And I know what you’re thinking: this is the sewing room organized? The answer is yes. You should’ve seen it before 😉

Family vacation was absolutely amazing! Tennessee was amazing as ever, and while our out-of-shape Midwestern bodies could barely handle the hikes, the views were totally worth it.

Mountaintop selfie! A bit sweaty, but happy nevertheless.

A family log photo was totally necessary.

Poor Iri! You can just see her ponytail peeking from behind Alex’s shoulder. When you have this many people in one family, group selfies can be very difficult and sacrifices must be made!

Us girls always love a chance to get fancy and go out together, and when you see an authentic French restaurant, you pretty much don’t have a choice.
