It may not seem like it from the lack of posting around here, but yes, we are still alive. The only problem with having a blog is that you have to do stuff to actually post about it. Therefore, when you don’t do much, you will have a very difficult time posting!
FINALLY, Lydia has had time to hone her coffee-making skills. Lattes for days.
In a rather unique series of events, we ended up in possession of our late great aunts house across the street. It was a beautiful house, but it really needed some love. So, for about a solid three weeks, that’s all we did. Three weeks of TLC, and it is beautiful.
January is also the month where we sort of recover, rethink, and plan. This means a lot of tea-briefs, and a lot of composition notebooks and scribbling pens.
Thank goodness, it also means some clean up and organization. this is good, mainly because the sewing room was starting to be a real sty.
We also had time to work on a few projects, piles of fabric that had been begging for our attention for months. A pretty spring dress was the happy result 🙂
Shop local, people. It’s the best.
Winter months in Illinois can be a bit dreary, so on sunshiny days we like to open every blind in the house and let the warmth in. Exhibit A.
This month also included a ton of shopping. See photo below…
We may be working on something pretty special…I guess you’ll just have to wait and see!
And finally, this gorgeous shot of the Debussy. I’m a little obsessed with this beauty.
Thanks for letting us take up part of your day! We love you all <3
