Friends, it feels like we’ve lived a year in the past month. Is it something about Christmas coming up that just escalates everything? I mean, it was successful, lovely, amazing, encouraging, but exhausting. Here goes:
Prepare for a few too many open house photos, we really didn’t have time to take photos of much else!
Sometimes you just have to get away from it all. That’s what we did! We headed to Atlanta, Georgia for thanksgiving! This is definitely not our usually MO, but it was by far the most relaxing trip we have had in a very, very long time. Thankful for friends that will host us and all our craziness for thanksgiving!
On the way home from GA, we had to hit one of our favorite Christmas traditions, the fresh Christmas tree. We go every year to Sunset Christmas Tree Farm, and Ember was able to really enjoy it this year!
Guess what we did for the very first time? Black Friday Shopping! Ok, so we had done it before…Just at about 9:00 in the morning. Does that count? Comment and tell me.
We had our second open house day, a sort of community thing going on, with the annual Christmas parade. Thanks, locals, for coming out!
I just feel you should be warned, if you’ve been eyeballing the Adelaide for Christmas, place your order soon! They are going so fast, and we can’t guarantee a fast delivery.
Ember turned one! I know, I know. Its unbelievable. She gets smarter every day 🙂
Not much to say about this, except for if you’ve been near Fairbury or Forrest and haven’t hit the Coffee Steamer, well…your loss.
Hosting the open house has been just so incredibly rewarding. And it’s lovely to put this beautiful house to use.
The Adelaide looks good in every situation. For example, GA stuffed with baby things.
Thanks for joining me, dear friends!
