Shows, open house setting up, and more shows. That was this month, in all it’s non-stop and exhausting glory.
Waterford, Virginia- The Waterford Fair. Extremely hot, truly fun.
Oh, I forgot to mention: at the Waterford Fair, the one that was really hot? Oh yeah, it also rained. A lot.
The beginning stages of the open house are always the hardest. Tons of ideas, and no idea how to execute them. So much creativity, so little time. Plus, the house was kind of messy from last year, as you can see above 🙂
Another photo from Virginia. Our costumes got progressively less historically accurate as we gave in to comfort.
Finally, the house has started coming together. It starts getting more fun and exciting as we go : ) the energy level is pretty high!
A good deal of the stuff we have there is from our artisan friends, and therefore beautifully handmade. Spotted: handmade stockings.
We were able to take the whole family to Ohio, and it was seriously so fun. The weather could not have been better.
We don’t get to travel together as much these days, what with school and general busyness. That just makes it all the sweeter when we’re together.
Ember has been such a trooper through all the things we have going, she just plays around the house as we work. Seriously, how did we get such an amazing baby??
This may look like deja vu, but it was just a different weekend. I know, confusing.
Thanks for joining me, friends! I wish you a lovely day.
