Hello dears! Another month, another family update. This month was really pretty lovely; some travel, camping, swimming…Pretty much everything to make our perfect summer.
First off, an arts festival. Pretty much a necessary. I mean, you have to do this at least once a year, right? It was blisteringly hot, which actually just made us so grateful we weren’t vendors there! Shows are a lot of fun, but in the heat of summer…? No.
We did another stuff-the-bag video, which I’ll be posting soon, I promise 🙂
I know I’m a little biased, but I really do think Emmy is one of the sweetest babies I have ever seen. I like to think even if she wasn’t my niece I would think so. I mean, look at her!
“You can never get a book long enough or a cup of tea large enough for me.” C.S. Lewis
We were able to go scrounging through a house full of antiques and things to look for treasures, and we found quite a few things to add to collection! A record player, some classical records, a vintage dress and this little postage thingy!
A little trip to State Farm Park where we quickly were scared out of the pool by a mass of humanity and took a walk along the paths instead 🙂
A trip to Zion Coffee Company in Peoria has always been floating in the back of our heads, but finally getting to go there was so much fun! I think this photo was also taken to prove we do get out of the house sometimes…
Quality swing time, of course.
If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen that we went camping on literally the hottest weekend of the year so far last week. I mean, we have an air-conditioned camper, but still. It takes a bit of the enjoyment of s’mores away when you’re still sweating!
July is our birthday month. The oldest three girls all have one in July! Obviously, this means a lot of front porch parties.
Thanks for sticking around for another sneak peek into our lives!
