Hello! If you have been reading the last couple of posts, you know that we went to a show a couple of weeks ago. It is such a fun show (really!) and we love doing it, but this particular one was slightly rainy. Like, really rainy. Anyway, you just have to stick to it and have the best show you can when this happens. Here’s how:
Firstly, don’t take yourself so seriously. If the show is a loss, just set out to be cheerful and enjoy it as much as you can. It’s no big deal, really! There will be other shows!
Get yourself a coffee. Or a hot cocoa. Even if there isn’t a booth with coffee, send out a family member for a few drinks. It really does wonders for the morale 🙂
Share your optimism with the other vendors, and the other customers. It is so easy to talk to a pessimistic vendor and get dragged down and start cursing the world together. Trust me, I’ve done it. However, you simply cannot do that. The result is a load of grumpy vendors.
Do some shopping! There probably aren’t that many customers around, so take the opportunity to see some of the fantastic products your friends have to offer!
If, like in this case, your venue sports some magnificently charming buildings and windows and things, take photos! You won’t regret it.
We really had so much fun. Thanks to all the lovely troopers that came out!
