We just got back Sunday night (or I should say early Monday morning!) from the Nashville Country Living Fair. We were unsure of how it was going to be since it was the first time the CLF had come to Nashville but it was a great show! We had a great location, lots of enthusiastic people, and a bunch of really great vendors! Can’t wait for the next Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck New York!
Thomas Wesley Stern was there for all three days of the show again, which is always fun. If you are going to be sitting at a show for three days straight you might as well enjoy some great live music!
We left home at 4:30 Thursday, arrived in Lebanon at 11:00, had the entire booth set up within a few hours and then got stuck in the mud. I mean really really stuck. We pushed on the back for a few futile minutes, switched tactics and tried pushing from the front, and then gave up on that plan entirely and unhooked the trailer pushed it out onto the road and went back to pushing the van! We finally got it out after some serious huffing and puffing. We must have looked ridiculous, one man and four girls trying to get the van out of the mud without tripping and falling in the muck ourselves!
Poor Naomi was so tired she took an hour and a half long nap in the middle of day three of the show!
We were all so worried because on Saturday the weatherman forecasted severe thunderstorms, hail, and isolated tornadoes! But, despite the over dire forecast we had a great day and the weather was wonderful and the sun shone all afternoon!
Drew is so much taller than Hannah it’s just ridiculous.
We are so glad Hannah and Drew were able to come down for two days of the show, Nashville is close enough to where we live that they just drove down to join us late Friday night. This was the first Country Living Fair Drew had ever attended and he sold several of his tables in our booth!
This is unfortunately what it looks like when you get home at 1:15 in the morning from a three day show. It’s like a minefield! Luckily, we are fairly tidy creatures and it didn’t stay like that for long!
