Sometimes….. things just don’t go according to plan. Last week on Tuesday morning Dad started to feel an intense pain in his stomach area and it persisted for maybe 45 minutes more before Mom took him to the hospital in Pontiac. They gave him the whole battery of tests and found that it was something relatively easy to fix. But, this raised the question, what are we going do to about the show? Now remember this was Tuesday afternoon and we had to leave on Wednesday so we were a little bit under the gun to decide! We eventually worked it out that Elia, Hannah, and Lydia would take the trailer and leave as planned on Wednesday morning, and Jake, Bethany, and Caleb would come from Texas to Tennessee to help the girls run the show. This was a tad bit concerning because the girls had never in their lives driven the trailer but you do what you gotta do. Needless to say it was a couple of stressful days let me tell you! They took off early Wednesday morning and made it there with very few mishaps, I haven’t been cleared to tell you any of the little adventures that happened along the way but let me assure you, it was interesting. Anyway, once they got there Jacob and Bethany met them and got all set up before the deadline Wednesday night. The next few days went by pretty smoothly and the girls even packed up by themselves (in record time) and drove home Sunday night. Daddy’s problems are all figured out and he had surgery Tuesday and is feeling much better, and we are so thankful that it wasn’t anything more serious! In the end we just decided that God had it all figured out ahead of time and it was according to his good, and perfect will that it all worked out the way it did!
