Recently I acquired several yards of leather fabric, one of the best buys I have ever made! I bought it because I kept thinking “Man if I only had some leather fabric I could make……” All those projects beyond my reach! Well now that I have some leather you might be seeing a good few DIY’s that include it!
This is the finished product. I think they are absolutely adorable! Especially considering how easy they are!
You will need:
Scissors
Leather
Hair Clip
Measuring Tape
Glue Gun
Using your measuring tape cut out a piece of leather that is 4 long by 2 inches wide.
Then cut out another piece of leather that is 2 inches tall and 1/2 an inch wide.
Then just wrap the second piece you cut out around the middle of the first piece as shown.
For this bow I used glue to secure it but if you wanted you could use a sewing machine instead, then simply glue the clip onto the back.
Voila! You are done!
Have fun trying different variations of this DIY like the one above.
I love the way this can spice up a simple hairstyle!
Enjoy!
Love, Grace

if you had a long plaited ponytail you could clip on 5to 6 of these bows starting with a large one at the top and the smallest at the bottom of the tail, make about 4 different sizes,or even a different size for each lower bow, sinderella.
try a leather butterfly, with thin wire for antenna and leather safe paints if you wish to add any detailed colours of butterfly types.
