So I got this idea after I did the DIY geometric patterned tote. It was very fun and easy ( am i sensing a pattern here?) and so one of these adorable pillows is currently resting on my bed and the other is on Lydia’s. When I got the idea for this DIY I had to go searching through the house for two pillows, when I finally found some (thanks mom for helping me out!) I just measured them and made some simple pillow cases out of duckloth.
I found these stencils online and printed them and cut them out.
Just like we did for the DIY geometric patterned tote you can use the stencils to draw your pattern onto the pillowcase using a pencil or something that can be easily removed if you make a mistake.
Make sure you put something in the pillowcase to keep the paint from bleeding through to the other side.
The paint only took around 10 minutes to dry.
The finished product!
I’m having some troubles deciding which one I like better!
The pillows I found were even feather pillows so I was like “Yup, these will work just fine!”
Thanks for reading!

What kind of paint did you use?
They were each a slightly different type of paint. The black one was acrylic, the gold was a metallic water based paint, and the blue one was a water based interior paint. So you could pretty much use any water based or acrylic paint, the other thing you could try is fabric paint. Hope it works out for you!
Fab tutorial! The cushions look amazing. 🙂
This is really outstanding. I can't imagine that how you got this idea to design the feather pillows or cushions for living room and as well as for garden bench cushions.
Keep it up!!!
