We went on a lovely very relaxing little camping trip last weekend (which I will post about in a couple of days) and came home entirely ready to unpack and go to bed and this is what we found:
Hmmmmmm……… I’m not completely sure but I kind of think we didn’t leave our house like this! This is popcorn, in case you couldn’t tell.
I’m just going to go ahead and give you guys the whole story, I have to admit this wasn’t entirely unprovoked. A couple months ago we decided to teepee our friends house (to know more about our reasons for that, read this). So we snuck into their house while they were away and did our worst. It was epically, incredibly, hilarious. So this was their, ‘ahem’ attempt, at retribution.
Popcorn littered our house everywhere. There was a huge pile on the back porch, it was all the way down the stairs, and even in between the sheets of our beds! At least they were thorough.
We had to use brooms to sweep it up before we could even start with the vacuum!
One of our many trash cans full!
They even filled one of our cars with popcorn! Like I said, at least they were thorough.
A lovely surprise for whoever was preparing the coffee that night.
One of the funniest things about this is the random little piles of popcorn we keep finding all over the house. Someone will be just walking around the house and it’s like “Oh, how lovely! A snack!”
I am glad we have friends that are close enough to us that they can totally popcorn our entire house and we still love them! I think maybe we need to tell them about the love of Jesus!

I think just maybe you should have a movie night and invite them over and serve them "their popcorn!!!" And maybe teach them about forgiveness. Your post made me smile!
