I found the DIY for these envelopes on pinterest and instantly fell in love with the idea! It would have been even better if i had some vintage maps or book pages to use. Ah well, we must make do with what we have right?
You will need:
a regular envelope
some fun scrapbook paper
a glue stick or double sided tape
a pencil
Step 1:
Take a regular envelope and unfold it then place it onto your chosen paper and trace around it with a pencil.
Step 2:
Cut out the shape you have traced onto the paper.
Repeat the process with the paper you’ve picked out for the inside of the envelope. Then, tape or glue those two pieces together.
Step 3:
Fold each side from corner to corner. It should start to look like an envelope now!
Step 4:
Glue the bottom flap over the two side flaps leaving the top flap free and you are finished!
