This past Sunday we had a baby shower at our house for our sister in law Bethany, and thought we’d share a few pictures. The shower was planned by Bethany’s sisters, Bekah and Joanna, and us girls. And in case you were wondering no, the baby’s name is not chuck. However, when Jake and Bethany first told us they were pregnant, Jake said that whether it be a girl or boy its nickname would be chuck. Now you can imagine that this was a bit of a source of general consternation for the rest of us. But we all breathed a sigh of relief once they got a sonogram and figured out that it was a boy. From then on the baby was called Baby Chuck.
We had a blast searching all the local antique shops to find props to decorate for the shower!

This stuff is seriously so yummy I could drink gallons of it. 🙂
We played a game where you pass around five bottles of baby food that have the labels stripped off and everybody has to try a little taste and write down what flavor they think it is. I think I only got one guess right but let me tell you some of those flavors were naaaaasty!
Our cousin, Karissa, is due almost exactly a month ahead of Bethany so we couldn’t resist a picture of the two.
