Hey Everyone! Here’s St. Paul part 2!
They were so many cars to look at!
Alex and Daddy undoubtedly discussing the finer points of interior work. π
Elia and Naomi look a little bit like they’re ready to move on. Elia was getting a little bit goofy. π
On one of the days Leah and Naomi went to Kid’s World and got their faces painted.
I liked Naomi’s especially. π
On the last night before we left we went out to eat and we were all a little bit too overtired to behave ourselves, so I think the staff was probably back in the kitchen scratching their heads wondering what in the world we thought was so funny that we were laughing so much and so loud! Above: I think Hannah was going for a group hug but as you can see Elia has ulterior motives of smooshing dessert into Hannah’s face, and Leah is having nothing to do with the whole hug thing, soup is so much more interesting.
Our family is so ridiculous, It was a fairly nice restaurant so when we were done eating they brought us out a plate of hot towels. Apparently these towels were meant for washing our hands. Well, Daddy obviously didn’t think so because as the waiter was still walking away Dad grabbed a towel and proceeded to blow his nose in it. Very loudly. π OK so don’t worry he didn’t really blow his nose in the hand towel but he did make a good show of pretending to do it and it’s a wonder we all didn’t die laughing.
Alex isn’t asleep, it’s customary for him to have his eyes closed in pictures.
At the car show they’re always a few “works in progress” as shown above. π
Consistently, every time we walked by this one somebody got punched accompanied with a yell of “Gold one!” It’s especially funny to hit Hannah because she reacts the most. π
There was a pretty decent band that played in the Women’s World called Star Chiefs, not really our style but the bassist was really good!
Taking down was an ordeal! It was really warm and we were pretty tired but it didn’t seem to take very long. We had some guys that were helping people take out who helped us all the while good-naturadly complaining about how heavy this was or how big that was. π
Daddy expertly organizing the trailer for the ride home.
Thanks for reading about our St. Paul trip!
