Here is a huge mish-mash of pictures we put together. They’re nothing specific but they’re all really fun! Hope you enjoy. 🙂
Little Paige was so good the whole trip! She was an angel. Such an adorable big smile!
A typical, very cute face of Hannahs. I find this one exceptionally funny. 🙂
After church on Sunday all the little boys went outside and had all sorts of races and played football!
On Sunday afternoon after church and before the Superbowl, all the big strong tuff macho men played football for a couple of hours.
They got very, very, very muddy and dirty but fortunately no serious injuries occurred. Though Daddy did end up on the ground a few times. 🙂
Micah remained attached to Hannah all throughout Sunday. 🙂
Some more football pictures. After awhile all of us ladies walked down to where they were playing to observe the competition.
Micah with a very confused look on his face.
All the football players.
Fortunately, the guys had found a place to watch the game. That’s all of them, all of us girls, as you will see in the picture below are sitting behind them half watching and generally just goofing off. 🙂
We did hair, but now that I think about it, I’m not even really sure what we were doing that whole time. We were not bored though! There was an awful lot of giggling going on. 🙂
Some of the kids playing games.
I think that maybe some of us girls had a little bit to much free time on our hands and so we decided to try on the drywall jacks. I’m just happy, (and amazed) that none of us broke a leg! This all happened (of course) when Lydia wasn’t around to supervise and do damage control. All these girls in one place can be such a handful. 🙂
The trip down was quite exciting. We played the cow game. Don’t bother trying to figure out what the cow game is because it doesn’t actually exist, though it is what we were playing for like an hour in the van. 🙂
The lovely Lexi keeping some of the boys entertained.
Grace and Lexi, displaying their two most attractive faces. 🙂
Group picture! There were quite a few of us. 🙂
When you get this group of friends together, crazy things happen! These are a few pictures of our contests to see who was biggest, toughest, strongest, and who had the most endurance. 🙂 By the way, I got none of the prizes for the listed contests. To me it seems that I must be abnormally weak. Though I wasn’t the only one thankfully, note the pained expressions! We were coerced into holding two milk jugs off to our sides, level with our shoulders for as long as you can. Not very long if you are me. It’s so hard! It feels like someones pushing your arms down from above.
Lydia and Hannah facing off. Hannah won.
Two of the guys had a push-up and clap competition.
Another competition picture.
It appears that Hannah has fallen asleep sitting at the table.
The adorable Paige again, wearing her cute giggling face. 🙂
Well hope you enjoyed getting to see some of the pictures of our Alabama trip. We had a blast! We went with such an amazing close knit group of friends that just made the whole trip more amazing! I think we were all ready to be getting some more sleep, ( We had been getting up at 6:00 and going to bed at who knows when at night!) but were all sad to see it end. All and all though it was a great trip and our family felt very blessed to be able to help.
