So, Beef Stew. The perfect winter meal. Can’t you just smell it already?! This stew cooks all day in the crock pot, which is amazing for when we have a busy afternoon, but the smell is absolutely, unbelievably, delicious. Onions and garlic and paprika…… yum!!!
Cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on high for 6 hours. Don’t forget to fish out your bay leaves before you serve. Although I forget them about half of the time and people usually don’t complain : )

1 1/2 Ibs. beef stew meat or beef chuck cut in small chunks
4 tsp. beef broth powder
3 Tbl. Spike Kitchen Seasoning
1/2 c. Minute Tapioca
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. paprika
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. worcestershire sause
5 medium potatoes, cut in small chunks
6 carrots, peeled and cut in small chunks on diagonal
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
3 ribs celery, sliced on diagonal
Place meat in crock pot and add water, beef broth powder, spike, tapioca, garlic, paprika, bay leaves, and worcestershire. Stir. Add potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on high for 6 hours. 6-8 servings. Tastes delicious with corn bread and cottage cheese.
