So we are finally getting around to posting about our girls day out in Chicago! It was fun. Lots of fun. We started out early in the morning. Well, early for us. So what if it was actually 7:30 a.m. Those of you who know us know that we are NOT morning people!
We drove to the train station and then rode on into Chicago. Definitely a highlight. We got off on the wrong stop but that’s ok, right? We just got to see more of the City that way.
Grace and Hannah with our lovely friend Lexi. We had lots of fun entertaining each other on the ride up and back down.
The train station. Very cool.
The girls…. having a blast.
So cool to us small town girls.
Ok so, we ate at the Cheesecake Factory which was AMAZING!!!
Friends + yummy food + cheesecake = happiness.
Just so you know, this IS strawberry lemonade.
Ahhhhh, the sigh of satisfaction…….
After our 2 hr. lunch (not entirely our fault) we headed out for some serious power shopping. 15 girls let loose in the American Girl Place and Feline’s Basement makes for an interesting, but fun, experience.
We stopped at Starbucks for coffee. Twice.
Thanks a million to the moms who were our navigators extrodinaire, money providers, and general
fun-makers on this trip. We love you 🙂
